- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am sorry that Ms. Major had a poor experience. Her rash was not Shingles per my exam but rather a fungal rash. She mistook my dictating the description of her rash into my Ipad as me looking up the diagnosis. Sometimes peoples expectations lead to misperception. I am glad she was able to find appropriate care. As for her labs I checked to see if her rash was due to any specific allergens or infections which I think was a reasonable thing to do. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪If I could give ZERO stars I would! Went to this guy who was given to me by Humana back in February for a rash. I had already Web Md'd all of my symptoms, so i had a pretty good idea of what it was, shingles. Also, I must mention my coworker was sent home on Monday with shingles, it was now Thursday. I even told him that I thought it was shingles and about the coworker. He didn't even look at it and he said "it's not shingles". Then this man proceeded to ASK SIRI ON HIS IPAD!! TWICE!! "Patient is exhibiting red rash extending from mid section to torso...rashes found unilaterally on the body..." But Siri was probably telling his foolish behind SHINGLES!! Ugh. Anyways, he prescribed me a $30 anti-fungal, ringworm cream. I went to urgent care the VERY NEXT DAY. The nurse took one look and said SHINGLES. So now I have to pay him a $20 copay, which isn't so bad, but also had to pay urgent care $150 because even though there in the network, it still ain't covered completely. I thought the $40 copay was it. Ha! Silly me. Now on top of that, I just got a bill on today, April 10th, saying I owe the diagnostic laboratory $134!!! What in the flying panties is going on here???!?!? I didn't ask him to run ANY tests! Now I gotta pay and he was WRONG THE WHOLE TIME?!?!? INCOMPETENCE!!! You wouldn't want NOBODY to do that to you!!!! SN: The receptionist was nice. Edit: While Dr. Jones is "sorry" he couldn't help, is he "sorry" about the $4000.00 medical bill I just received from the lab tests he sent out to misdiagnose me??September 10, 2017by Catey Major
